My son has taken drums with Kenneth for 10 months with no prior music education. Hes 9. Kenneth is GREAT with him. Very motivational, and gets him playing songs he likes, despite being new to drums. Weve also signed him up for the bands group, so hes getting exposure to a full band, playing Best songs, and gets to record in the studio at the end. How sweet is that?! Matt Burk is a great place to learn. Highly recommend.

Both my son and I took lessons at Matt’s studio in Allen.Matt, and the musicians at his studio, are fantastic. They are as knowledgeable as they are patient. They do a great job of keeping us on task while always ensuring that we enjoy what we were doing. They could motivate us to practice—without it ever feeling like work.The lessons were always interesting and lively and our interactions with our teachers always fun.I would highly recommend anyone looking to take music lessons (whether a child or adult) to work with Matt and his crew!Dan Chern

My kids started going here and showed great progress...so I decided a few years ago to take lessons along with them! Ive been taking drum lessons with Kenneth for several years now and Ive had one of the most amazing experiences growing as a musician. This place is awesome and full of talented and credentialed instructors!

My daughter was a student when Matt first opened his studio, and absolutely loved it! She was about 8 or 9 years old, and he was very patient with her. I could tell that she was progressing. She loved the annual recitals as well. She was a student there gor about 6 years. The only critique I would give is that as the studio grew, her instructor changed each year in the last 3 years. Again they were all very professional and nice and equally encouraging, but it broke the continuity - just a little. We loved it, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

We have truly loved our time at Matt Burke Music Studio! The team is super friendly, very helpful & kind. I love the notes they would send home each week with my child so I knew exactly what he needed to practice as well as a positive note as to how practice went that day! Very professional & organized! I highly recommend them!

Both of my kids have had amazing experiences here! The instructors are patient and talented. The jam sessions are really fun for the kids. And the recitals are fun for everyone. This is a first class experience!

Great teachers who and fun and patient with new learners! My 3 children with special needs all LOVE their lessons and are becoming great musicians. There are so many different types of performance opportunities that its easy to find the right fit for each student.

This place has been making a positive difference in our childs life for over two years. Josh is an amazing instructor! A very cool place with awesome venues for recitals! Happy this studio is so close to home!

My voice teacher was Alex, and she was absolutely amazing at teaching voice! Not only were her teaching methods fun and easy to learn, they also improved my voice a lot. Alex was very considerate and helpful, even if i didnt hit the right key. She helped me to get rid of all my vocal insecurities and made singing a phenominal experience overall! 10/10 would recommend.

We had been wanting lessons for our 6 yr old daughter who loves to sing but were worried she would be too shy to take private lessons. We decided it was time and from the first time we walked into the Allen Studio our experience was not only enjoyable but very professional. The process was flawless and we started that following week with a wonderful instructor who makes her feel so comfortable. They offer the option for text reminders which has helped immensely. Our daughter has learned so much more than we could have asked for. She is learning different techniques at such a young age and we cant wait until she gets the chance to perform at the next recital offered by the studio in May. She loves her instructor and he has made it so enjoyable and productive for her. We absolutely love this wonderful business.

Their teachers demonstrated how to play piano in a live lesson, by playing back a pre-recorded music on a laptop instead of actually do a live demo on keys. Subsequently I dont have any confidence on their teachers.I do NOT recommend this place. No star is given on my review.

We took drum and guitar lessons for a few years. Kenneth Pritchard and Scott Morse are first class instructors! We learned at our pace - the instructors knew when to accelerate and adjust to our learning capabilities.They pass on a gifted skill set no one else could even come close to, See for yourself!

MBMS teachers and staff were very professional. They have an excellent program but it is not inexpensive. We did not continue with their program because my son was not willing to put in the practice time required to make the lessons a good investment. If at some point he changes his mind we will go back for sure.

I enjoyed the classes, and the teacher was very open to discussing advanced topics, especially in music theory. I plan to pick this back up, or at least send my girls.

I along with my 2kids have been attending Matt Burke Music Studio for last 4 yrs or so. We are very happy with the quality of teachers and lessons and the overall experiences

Great with our 2nd grade son learning to play the guitar! Friendly, very responsive and makes it fun for him to learn!
