My wife and I have been extremely happy with Bright Horizons. As first time parents we were very nervous about starting daycare - especially during the pandemic. BH made the transition extremely easy for us and our daughter who is thriving there. The staff are friendly, caring, and accessible. Highly recommend.

We can’t say enough good things about Bright Horizons at Corporate Woods! If I could give 10 stars I would! I was so nervous about sending our 6 month old son to daycare during a pandemic, but Bright Horizons instantly put me at ease even before his first day. I had a lot of communication with the director and teachers before his start date - they answered all of my questions and were extremely organized and on top of things. They also have MANY safety precautions in place that we greatly appreciate during this unprecedented time.Bright Horizon’s communication is incredible. I am updated in real/ live time about my son’s feedings, diaper changes, and nap times. I am also sent videos and pictures through their app, which puts me at ease as a new and first time mom. My son is very happy and enjoys his time at BH! He is taken great care of by the loving teachers and staff. I highly recommend Bright Horizons. I’m so grateful to have found this center for my baby!

My daughter is about to graduate from BH, and overall, I love the program and so does she. I was unhappy with some severe behavioral issues going on in the classroom. I can only describe it as bullying & violence, which feels bizarre for an age group so young. Our daughter picked up on concerning language from another child, but the school isn’t to blame for that. I communicated my concerns numerous times, and hopefully they reached out to the necessary supports. Her toddler, preschool, and K-prep teachers are absolutely phenomenal, motivated, dedicated, and so caring. The lesson plans are meticulously planned out and impressive. I’ve seen so much emotional, social, and intellectual growth in our preschooler over the past 2 years. They have handled this pandemic better than I could have imagined

My daughter spent 2.5 years at Bright Horizons and loved it. I highly recommend this program. The Pros:The physical space is attractive and relatively new. The rooms are big with plenty of natural daylight streaming in from the giant windows. Kids go outside every day to play or take nature walks unless weather does not permit. They also bring in enrichment activities including music and amazing athletes on a weekly basis. This is not a glorified baby sitting service. Their curriculum is intense. They use center-based learning and follow the NYS topics as they go through the year. Kelly is the best, no nonsense teacher and an amazing kind-hearted human being. By February of the pre-k year, my daughter knew enough sight words that she began reading to me and trying to sound out new words. The Cons:A lack of a foreign language is the biggest negative. The knowledge of a second language has been shown to improve cognitive ability throughout a lifetime.Id say another problem right now is a lack of space due to high demand. They converted their art room and gym into additional classrooms, bringing these activities in to each classroom.Tuition is quite high for the area, but worth it in my book.Overall, it was a positive experience and i highly recommend this program.

PLEASE READ BEFORE PUTTING YOUR KID HERE OR WORKING HERE!!!!! Okay first off, being an experienced childcare worker for a decade I can assure you that there are way better daycare centers in Albany who offer more for a cheaper price. Come on now they don’t even provide meals. I PROMISE that there is nothing special that other daycares don’t do or have EXCEPT that they are accredited by NAEYC. Now let’s get into the work experience. ITS HORRIBLE. Yes they have good benefits Yes they offer totally free education but even that couldn’t keep me there. The amount of drama between staff is unbelievable you would think that it’s ran by 13 year olds. YOU WILL BE SICK CONSTANTLY! The sick policy’s followed at MOST centers ARE NOT FOLLOWED HERE. literally, it’s like working in a pediatric hospital THE SICKNESSES CONSTANTLY ROTATE. Not just the common cold, but COXSACKIE, PINK EYE, THRUSH... they never go away in that place because the proper precautions are NOT MADE. Workers are prohibited from discussing pay because of how UNFAIR it is, there’s substitutes in there who make more $$ than a teacher. PARENTS RUN AWAY, YOU WILL FIND BETTER FOR LESS!!!! EMPLOYEES DEFINITELY RUN AWAY!!! If you want fair pay, to stay healthy and want your personal needs and life to be considered DO NOT WORK HERE!!
