Initially I gave this school 5 stars for their in-person program that I had a perfect 4.0 in. Paying $46,000+ dollars for an associates degree here, and ever since COVID started, its been a teach yourself everything format instead of actual learning environments. Its super discouraging and all the weight gets dumped on the student instead of you actually having a teacher to guide you through learning. I signed up for the Network Associate that ends in CCNP Route, now CCNP enterprise, and the only reason I powered through over a year of teaching myself everything, providing myself with all equipment instead of school provided for hands on learning, struggling without real support for learning, and having my grades tank hard was because I was told it was the only way to stay in my program to take that CCNP class I really wanted for personal career progression. Now, after all of that, instead of being placed in that set of classes for the CCNP Enterprise certification, Ive been dumped into a course covering a 3rd of a different CCNP that I wont ever use, and afterwards, 2 courses for a CCNA DevNet that Ill never use either. Dont waste your money or GI Bill here.

This school has undoubtedly some of the most helpful and skilled instructors out of the for-profit schools Ive attended in San Diego. The hands on instruction goes beyond what other merely advertise.Keep an eye on the paperwork if you are VA-funded, other than that; #Awesome

This school sells you a fairy tale with a tragic ending. I was on a one year associates program. They tell you that this program can be done in one month of classwork under there guidance and supervision. Staff is always changing. Staff can be bullied into giving As but they give easy As. NO tutors, no help from staff because not enough staff and not that flexible. CAN you learn three years of networking in two months. Can you learn two YEARS OF HARDWARE in one month. If you can this school is great. They need to supplement students correctly instead of using test-out which is supposed to take a traditional approach with 6 months of training but they condense most classes in one month. They have bootcamps that drill questions if your into that on certain days not flexible but, for actually understanding and getting intimate that is another beast. Please avoid this school. Also need help trying to find out if I can legally do something need help. Wasted tens of thousands of dollars here. Cant even break into the IT field with the degree they gave me. I have 2 Certifications. Also most of the five star reviews are from either made up accounts, staff or people paid to write a good review. Trash school save your money go somewhere else. Sink or swim approach with the student caring all of this burden. Bad customer service.

I can’t recommend this institute cause during my time the teachers in my classes seemed like they did not have the knowledge to teach the courses or either left us to figure it out ourselves and let canvass teach and grade the course, worst choice I made by attending and it truly makes you feel like why did I waste my time when there are so many other reputable institutions out there. Schedule is nice and flexible but do yourself a favor and go elsewhere

Well I want to be honest I love CIAT I am giving 3 ⭐️ because I don’t like the location of this campus rather then that CIAT is the best place to achieve the IT career goals and staff are so friendly and helpful, specially the HR and student service guys are the best but I would definitely rate 5 the other South Bay locations!!

Above and beyond! My experience with CIAT has been exceptional. The instructors very knowledgable A great environment for learning and very well organized. A truly superb combination of professionalism and kindness When I “SLAYED” my final exam. I walked out of the the test center and there was my instructor and multiple staff members waiting support me. What an amazing personal touch. The two campus are immaculate, the instructors are very approachable. My classes were small and if I fell back on any topic CIAT would have an instructor teach me one on one! Thank you Jaime for cultivating a great learning environment. Mellisa, thank you for your encourage and support. Laila you are a gem, thank you for your exceptional security concepts, your instruction and all the extra things you did you me to see me reach my goals. Rommel, thank you so much. A shout out to Wayne, Kristen and Amy. Can’t forget Stangl, thanks for your time as well.

Worst School Ever! First I have been waiting since October to be able to use my GI bill for school. I was told I had to wait for the VA to approve the school to allow more VA recipient students to attend using the GI bill. Second I have pulled out of school after just taking one class in December and still being charged for classes because no one apparently knows how to do there job. As of right now the school has taken over $9000 from the government that I now owe and I am not able to get anyone to do the only job they have and process the paperwork. The best thing this school is good for is not doing their job and transferring you from one person who doesnt know how to do there job to another.

California Institute of Arts & Technology is a fabulous school and I would recommend any aspiring IT type to check it out. Additionally, if youre a Veteran than this school makes the process very easy while making sure you maximize your VA benefits. Finishing up my first class next week and ready for the next, much thanks to the superb staff at CIAT! Contact Bill Arsenault, your Vet Rep and hell get you headed in the right direction.

Scam Alert 📢 Unbelievable! The owner of the company called me to smooth things over he tried to bribe me to take down my negative reviews. I told him he is a scam for taking my financial aid money and he denied allegations then blamed me for having an attitude but i was very kind until i realized the whole school is a hacking mask for an underground scheme in san diego. The pictures on this listing arent existingbat the actual school!!! The owner was rude and accusatory! I was never even able to login to the student portal online several attempts! #scamalert 📢
