The staff at Bright Horizons is second to none. They do an amazing job staffing kind, knowledgeably safe, gentle teachers, and loving workers. My daughter (infant) and son have gone to back-up care, our son as an infant and is now in the toddler room at 2.5yrs. He has seen 10 or so care providers in his time and has transitioned rooms and every employee has been fantastic!

We have used the Mayo back up child care service numerous times over the last 2 years. We have always been extremely satisfied with the care provided to our infant and toddler. It is amazing that the cost is minimal and the service is phenomenal. I highly recommend the Mayo back up care staff.

We sent our son to Bright Horizons from 4 months through 5 years old. We absolutely loved the staff, curriculum, facility, and safety policies. They were very flexible with our scheduling. As a Mayo employee we were also able to use the back-up service at the same facility. I strongly recommend this daycare center!

Absolutely love this place, and my daughter does as well. The staff is so friendly and so attentive. Ive only been in the toddler rooms and they are clean. Safety is also great. At the end of the day I get a report card which is awesome, love to hear all about my childs day at school.

Our son has attended Bright Horizons in Rochester since they first opened in September of 2010. We have used both the back-up and full time service options. We feel the communication has been excellent, the staff well trained, and the management to be experienced and knowledgeable. They offer back-up care, 2 day/week, 3 day/week, and 5 day/week options that give the consumer lots of choice and financial flexibility. We would highly recommend.

Great, safe place for Mayo kids when other childcare plans fall through. Reservations are made up to a month in advance. Would be nice if a small number of spots were reserved for 24 hour notice so parents in a real pinch without time to plan would have a chance of getting kid care here.

We love using Bright Horizons backup daycare. Everytime our child has had a good day there. They have early drop off times and late pick up times. Their staff has been nothing but friendly and professional with me. Recently when a friend of mine was picking up their child she happened to see mine on the playground. She told me that he looked as though he was having the time of his life. The facilities are clean and organized. Checking in and out is a snap.

Recently went and took a tour of Bright Horizons. The place was absolutely filthy! The class rooms were overflowing with children and lacked adequate supervision. The director conducting the tour gave very little information on actual curriculum being used in classrooms. This place is no more than an over priced low end daycare center. So sad that there is such a shortage of quality childcare that people actually resort to sending their children to this place.

I had a smile in my heart already driving by the playground. The kids were involved in four smaller groups. One group dancing and smiles around the teacher who waved as I passed. Another teacher talking and pointing at a spot on the walkway as they walked in a zig zag line. The sandbox had the third group busy with the teacher. My favorite was the last group...the teacher was laughing and talking as he was rolling hula hoops out and back to the students in his group. One little boy was laughing so hard he sat down. The hula hoop rolled back to the teacher as soon as it touched the ground since he put a back spin on it. Magic!! What a fun welcome to a new center. I know Im gonna like it here!!

They do a great job in entertaining my kid and documenting their day, which is all you can really ask of a backup daycare center.
