LOVE TKM! Highly recommend! My son is so happy and excited to go every day and that says it all! He hugs the teachers at the end of each day and cant wait to come back in the morning. He is learning AND having fun! The environment is calm and inviting and the children thrive there. The center is not too big which was exactly what we were looking for. I spend a lot of time there and see first-hand the positive interaction between teachers and the children (and parents). I trust the staff as I do my own family!Keep up the great work and THANK YOU for all you do!!

Horrible daycare. The teachers do not treat children with respect. My first feeling when touring was that Lisa was unkind to the kids. I should have listened to my instinct, but I knew another parent sending her child there, so I chalked it up to a bad day. I also felt like the kids were not having fun, they werent smiling, they werent friendly with the teachers. From the start it was a horrible experience. My child was age 4 and was only there a very short time. My child has been in daycare since 3 months of age and has never had issues prior to TKM or since. After leaving, I did find out that the staff thought that my child must be a bad kid the first day we started because we started so quickly...evidently they thought he was kicked out of his previous daycare. Not true..never had any issues at a daycare before or since. So it seems to me that the teachers labeled him a trouble-maker and treated him like one. They even shut him in a room all by himself that he could not get out of!!!!! What skilled teacher or reputable daycare essentially locks a 4 year old kid in a room?? And this was within a week or two of him being there!!! I can only imagine how scared and confused he was. It makes me sick to think of it. And I am a strict parent and believe in discipline, no question. If a kid is being bad, I believe in correcting the behavior. But shutting a young child in a room by himself is never the appropriate way to correct a behavior. And my son was not being bad, it was the teachers perception that he was misbehaving. The younger teachers did not have issues at all, but Lisa and Judy were the ones that think they are trained professionals and most certainly did not act it at all.

I work in early childhood education and visit many preschools and childcare centers in the metro area. Tomorrows Kids Montessori is--by far--the best facility Ive experienced. I would not send my own kids anywhere else. My children have been excited to go to school every day, have learned amazing things, and are more than ready to start kindergarten once they graduate. The teachers are caring and very knowledgable. There has been no teacher turn-over since my first child started at TKM several years ago (which is very rare). I cannot imagine that the first review on here is legitimate--I have never had a negative experience with TKM (or any of the teachers) in the several years my family has been there. All of the teachers work well with a wide variety of children and are extremely professional and personable (and Im very picky).

Tomorrows Kids Montessori is a wonderful preschool and daycare in Eagan. My granddaughter is in her third year at TKM and even though I retired in the last year, I continue to drive her from south Minneapolis to Eagan so that she can continue to thrive in this caring environment. The two main teachers, Judy and Lisa, are seasoned Montessori professionals with a well mentored and trained staff. The children are consistently calm, cheerful, engaged, respectful, and responsible. The environment is clean, open, airy, filled with the most interesting subject matter. Time is divided between challenging curriculum (e.g., the human body, the rainforest, outer space) and play, with music and theatre and art thrown in. Wonderful!
